I’ve been flat out trying to keep up with, and failing to do so, all the news coming out of the Geneva Motor Show this year – except it wasn’t because the show was cancelled. Which is even sadder now that we realise how many new products and concepts were being introduced by main manufacturers alone, never mind smaller companies. Here I run through some of them. Porsche has released the flagship of the current 911 range, the new 911 Turbo S. It arrives with 650bhp from its traditional flat-six 3.8-litre rear-mounted engine, thanks to twin turbos.
Did Hyundai just think ‘screw it, let’s just make a Porsche’? – that’s what it looks like with the Korean car company’s latest concept – the Prophecy EV… so does that mean in future all cars will look like Porsches? Well that can’t be a bad thing then!
